There is numerous boat centres dotted around the UK and the Norfolk broads is one of the more important areas of these. These manmade lakes joined by rivers are a boaters paradise. Situated to the east of Norwich the “broads” are easy to get to from many UK cities. Here you can find many alternative boat- hire companies as well as sailing clubs and private individuals who make use of the water for pleasure and recreation. The types of boat available allow all levels of boating skills to be accommodated from simple motorised day boats to large engineless sailboats. Once on the water you can start relaxing immediately as the pace of travel slows down to a modest 4 or 5 mph. There are many places to stop and visit on-route as you navigate around safe in the knowledge that you are never far from help.
